Holy Relationships:
Daily Guide for September 8, 2022
By Jeffon Seely
What makes life so incredible and fulfilling? When you ask yourself that question, what comes to mind? Is it the accumulation of things, professional accomplishments or personal accolades? Is it the amount of money you have or the number of trips that you've gone on? Perhaps it is spiritual truths that make life so rewarding, or maybe for all of us, it is something a little different.
When I ask myself this question, one word immediately flashes in my mind: relationships. For me, it is the relationships I have in my life that make this journey so enjoyable. In fact, when I bring to mind any memory, while the memory is more often than not associated with a particular experience or event, each of my greatest memories always involve other people.
When I think back to all my hiking and camping trips when I was younger, I bring Grandfather to mind. When I think of playing sports as I was growing up, I think of my friends on the team and my grandma, who didn't miss a single game. When I think about professional accomplishments, I think about my mentors and the people who provided me with an opportunity. When I think about moments of joy, I think about my family.
It appears that the greatest blessing provided by the Divine are the people in our lives. With this understanding, I believe today is a great opportunity to look at all of our relationships and see the Infinite.
Be grateful for your relationships. They are all holy.
Affirmation: Every person I see is the Divine looking back at me. I give thanks. |

CSL's Global Heart of Peace
Initiative Honors Day of Peace
On September 21, CSL communities worldwide will honor the United Nation's International Day of Peace. This year, the U.N. acknowledges that achieving true peace entails more than laying down arms. It requires building societies in which all members can flourish. The 2022 theme is “End Racism. Build Peace.”
CSL's Heart of Peace team invites everyone to take a deep dive into their spiritual practices, committing to daily peace prayers with total confidence that we have the power to change the world using spiritual mind treatment. We foster the emergence of a world in which compassion and empathy overcome suspicion and hatred.
Join the Facebook live event, "One World, One Love, One Peace," to honor the UN International Day of Peace on September 21, 2022. Become a member of the group on Facebook at CSL Heart of Peace Meditation. Participate in the power of collective meditation and prayer with hourly postings for a full 24 hours beginning at 12 a.m. GMT. |

Truth Competes With No One
By Ernest Holmes
We sometimes come up against the thought of competition, the belief that there are too many people engaged in the business we are interested in.
Competition is a belief that there is not enough good to go around, and while believed, this thought manifests itself in limitation. In other words, if we feel our line of business is crowded and we must therefore be on tiptoe to keep ahead of the other [person], the probabilities are that we will find ourselves crowded out.
We must resolve this thought into its native nothingness. Truth does not compete with anyone. Therefore, we should not allow the thought to enter our minds that we are competing with anyone. We should never watch to see what another is doing or how he is doing it, for when we do this, we limit our own possibilities to the range of another's vision.
Principle is not bound by precedent, and our good is not limited or conditioned by any good that has ever been manifest. We should confidently expect a greater good than we have ever experienced or than we have ever known of anyone experiencing.
