Undeniable Messages from Our Hearts
“Our hearts are biased by nature,” Trish Hall. M.Div., writes in the May 2020 issue of Guide for Spiritual Living: Science of Mind magazine. “We are wired to seek commonalities, experiences of oneness. The heart knows all about oneness. The heart understands that it is an outlet of Spirit — the One Spirit that simultaneously uses myriad individuations of Itself as outlets.”
Hall posits that we each have within us everything we need to mend any sense of separation and to heal the world. She suggests that the first step is to stop and listen deeply to your heart.
“The messages of your heart are unique to you,” she writes. “Listen beyond the words.”
She adds, “Resistance may abound, yet the heart messages are undeniable. Within each of us is a direct impartation of wisdom beyond our wildest, most magnificent concept of human ideation.”
Putting these ideas into a practical application, Hall says, “We must shift from merely being outlets to being conscious outlets of Spirit.” As we shift our behaviors to become demonstrations of our ultimate beliefs, we can “release the human fixation on contrast and courageously be a stand for the recognition of divine commonality.” |

CSL Copes with COVID-19
Worldwide, Centers for Spiritual Living communities grapple with remaining connected and lifting up others while operating remotely or in isolation. Many, perhaps even most, live stream services and events. Others add in remote and distance learning opportunities in areas where the technology infrastructure allows. All seek meaningful actions on the spiritual frontline of battling this pandemic.
As an organization, we are gathering stories from CSL communities across the globe, to be guideposts for others and as a way to capture our own history at this time. Some of those stories will appear in upcoming issues of Guide for Spiritual Living: Science of Mind magazine. Others will appear on a dedicated page of the magazine’s website: scienceofmind.com/csl-copes-with-covid
Noting that the magazine is in production a full two months ahead of its publication date, Editor Holli Sharp says, “We are focusing on what we know is ours to do: Capture and share the spirit-based stories of how our communities and individuals within them are responding to these challenges. We take seriously our role in being a guide for spiritual living, just as we do in preserving our history in the making.”

Love Protects Its Own
—by Ernest Holmes
I know there is but One Power in the universe and that Power is God. That Power manifests in and through all form, all people, all conditions and so is at the very center of my being. This God-Power is me.
This Power is Life Itself, and Its nature is Love — All-Good. It contains all Wisdom, Peace, Joy and Strength. At the center of my being I feel this Perfection in me. I know It is all around me. Everywhere I turn I behold It. It is my whole being. Every cell and atom of my being, my every thought and feeling, my every act is an expression of this God-Power. …
I know that Love protects Its own. I know that Love now makes clear the way before me, eliminating every seeming obstruction. I am guided into an ever-widening unfoldment of being, and I rest in perfect joy and peace. One with all Life, my every need is now fulfilled.
