God Restores Me to Perfect Health
The Spirit within me is God, that Spirit is perfect. That Spirit is divine, whole, happy, complete. Spirit of Infinite Peace is within me, and that peace – poised in perfect life, complete in perfect happiness – that Spirit within me is God and is Whole. That Wholeness is perfect now. God is an immediate Presence and an immediate Experience in my mind and soul, and I am conscious of this Perfect Presence, this Divine Wisdom, this Eternal Wholeness. Now I recognize that the Principle of Life is in me and around me and operates through me; that It has no want, has not fear, has no doubt, has no limitation. There is that within me which guides me into opulence, into success, into harmony and love and beauty and friendship, and it does this in peace, in joy and in certainty. I let that Divine within me – using whatever method It may – restore me to perfect health, perfect happiness and harmony and bring into my experience everything that is good, that is perfect, that is true and successful. |

One Halloween night, Rev. Clyde Allison and his wife Mary Emma experienced mixed emotions as they handed out candy to a parade of trick-or-treaters. “It’s too bad we can’t turn this into something good,” said Mary Emma. “We can,” replied Clyde. Soon Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF was born. Now, millions of kids in the U.S., Canada, Ireland, Mexico and Hong Kong carry small orange boxes with them and solicit change from the houses they visit. As we move into the frenzied holiday season, our sense of peace often gets left behind; lost somewhere between the crowded parking lots and the insanely long checkout lines. 
Erika Luckett struck a chord with many of our readers with her story of healing through cancer in the October issue. A talented singer/songwriter, Erika shares her gifts and talents primarily through song. In this video, she and her partner, Lisa Ferraro, perform “Wide Blue Sky,” a song inspired by 13th century mystic poet Rumi. In the poem, Rumi reminds each of us that we are “the wide blue sky. Don’t pretend it isn’t true. We can see it in your eyes.”
