Love dissolves all fear, casts out all doubt, and sets the captive free.

Love, like the River of Life, flows through me and refreshes me with its eternal blessings.

Love cannot be afraid; it is fearless and strong, and is mighty in its works.

It can accomplish all things through the Inner Light of that faith in the All Good,

Which fills my very Being with a Powerful Presence.

Remembering Pete Seeger – An American Original

Folk music icon Pete Seeger tirelessly held the vision of a world that works for everyone. Seeger’s inclusive voice spanned the decades, from support for unions and civil rights to environmental and peace movements. He introduced the song, “We Shall Overcome” to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  Seeger’s famous banjo head featured the affirmation-like declaration: “This machine surrounds hate and forces it to surrender.” His recurrent call to recognize our common human spirit includes such classics as "If I Had a Hammer" and the beautiful song, "Oh, Had I a Golden Thread." Science of Mind magazine honors the memory and spirit of Pete Seeger.
