Prepare the Way
Ernest Holmes
We have become technicalized, we are modernized, we are industrialized, we are commericialized, and...we have become psychologized. But who can say that we are civilized? We shall never become civilized until we first become spiritualized.
Thus we pause on the brink. May God grant that at this Christmas Season we shall have the courage to face the issue; that we shall have the moral stamina and spiritual conviction to face it fairly and squarely; that out of our long night a new day may break. May a voice cry in our wilderness, “Prepare ye the way of the Lord. Make his path straight.” May the voice of the Great Shepherd again be heard throughout the world. Only in universal love is there universal security. May our Christmas trees this year be lighted with that love. May it glisten on the branches of our Tree of Life. May we come to understand that there is One God, One Shepherd, and One Sheep.
Excerpted from “Blending the Human and the Divine” by Ernest Holmes, Science of Mind magazine, December 1951.

Birth the New World
Here is the beginning of a letter of invitation to you from Barbara Marx Hubbard:
Dear Friend:
This invitation to participate in the Birth is the most important letter I have ever written.
Its intent is to present you with the greatest opportunity that humanity has ever consciously faced together: the effort to cocreate a planetary shift in time to avert global catastrophe by helping humanity cross the gap from “Here”—our current breakdowns—to “There”—our future of infinite possibility.
Hubbard then requests your presence at the evolutionary event of the millennium, the celebration of a lifetime, on December 22: Birth Day 2012. Hubbard and her co-hosts comprise a Who’s Who list of world-renowned spiritual luminaries and peace leaders, including Michael Bernard Beckwith, Jack Canfield, Deepak Chopra, Jean Houston, and Lynne Twist. Together, they wish to spend the day with forward-thinking people like you—100 million in all—gathered in “hubs” around the world to usher in this new era.
A visionary futurist since the 1960s, Hubbard is the author of Birth 2012 as well as several other significant books. The future that she and numerous other premiere thinkers of our time have long envisioned is arriving. According to Hubbard, December 22, 2012 “has been selected as a day to encourage, connect, and celebrate what’s being born through all of us. It’s a day to identify what’s good, what’s loving, and what’s able to create a future that works for us all.”
For more information on Birth Day 2012 and to find a hub near you, please visit www.birth2012.com. Read invitations from other leaders. Sign a Pledge to “commit to share only feelings, actions, and words of love on December 21, 22, and 23.” Learn how you can attend the gala festivities. Above all, be part of the emerging world. |

Acoustic Eidolon’s holiday music has received rave reviews.
"This holiday jewel showcases the warm, vibrant tone of Hannah Alkire's cello and the sparkling harp-like sound of Joe Scott's guitjo. This unusual duo's fourth release avoids the sappy sentimentality of many seasonal albums...." Acoustic Guitar— Magazine Review— Celine Keating
"Joy to the World is clearly one of the most restful and soothing CD's I've heard this season. This is a good all-around CD from early season to Christmas Day...and for what ails you when you get the winter blues." Christmasreviews.Com— Richard Bank
“Winter’s Call, the follow-up to Acoustic Eidolon’s critically-acclaimed first holiday release, Joy to the World, continues their ability to bring traditional Christmas melodies to life in completely new and refreshing ways. The bell-like quality of Joe’s double-neck guitjo has become the quintessential Christmas sound, and combined with Hannah’s warm emotional treatment of favorite melodies, AE delivers these classics in ways you’ll want to hear all year long.
