The Man Who Has Arrived
Ernest Holmes
The man who has arrived will realize that he has done so in the midst of an outer confusion; he will be the one who has gone into the silence for strength and has come out into the world equipped with power from on high; but that light which he has received must be kept burning.
Not alone in the silence, but in the busy throng must all of us find the way of life. Our every thought creates. For the majority of us, these thoughts come in everyday affairs, some of which are very trivial, but these, too, will be demonstrated.
We have missed the whole point unless we have learned so to control our thought that time and place make no difference.

Wise Men Follow Stars
Raymond Charles Barker
Unknown and unnamed, traveling more than a thousand miles, three men have been called blessed by history because they sought an Idea whose time had come. Their wisdom lay in their ability to find God in the commonplace, to find Christ in a humble manger, and to give with no thought of return. Like the Psalmist, they had lifted up their eyes and beheld the action of God. Leaving the comfort and security of their homes, they followed a need within themselves. They sought and found the historic Christ, and in doing so, they found the Christ of their own being.

News from Our Cost Rica Study Group
Many of you will remember a feature in the December 2011 issue titled “Breaking the Cycle of Poverty” written by Barry Stevens. Barry and his wife Nancy have dedicated their lives to teaching Science of Mind principles to indigenous people in Costa Rica. Last year they served eighty children who, without their support, would not have had the opportunity to attend school. Their school program provides kids with breakfast, dinner, help with homework, and the Science of Mind principles that allow them to have a glimpse of a better life. Their work is truly Science of Mind in action, and they would love our consciousness and support.
